Tom Evans plays mainly accordion, piano, and double bass. He has been known to play drums, mandolin, pedal steel, and melodeon too, but not as often. He writes tunes.
Tom has been using PA equipment since buying his first setup age 12 and his attitude to recording reflects this, preferring to record many people at once to preserve the live 'feel' of a piece.
He enjoys a challenge, particularly mechanical ones, and can maintain free reed instruments as well as designing and building solutions to other problems. His double bass stand is currently the most used of these solutions soon to be overtaken by a carbon-fiber dulcimer case, expected completion December 2019.
